The Similarities and Differences between The Artificial Intelligence and Human Intelligence
Does artificial intelligence beat human intelligence? Or is it an effort to help humanity?
Human intelligence encompasses abilities such as thinking, reasoning, perceiving objective facts, judging and drawing conclusions. Artificial intelligence, on the other hand, is performing various activities similar to intelligent beings such as humans, by means of a computer or a computer-controlled robot.
Although artificial intelligence has recently gained similar features with human intelligence, there are many points where it differs. Artificial and human intelligence have many similar properties. The first similarity is that: Both types of intelligence must realize learning. Therefore, they need a space where the information they learn can be stored. Second similarity is that, as a result of the energy they consume, they also need a power source. For that, we can cite sleep as an example for humans. And another similarity is that both types of intelligence have the ability to understand and use information and solve problems with that information.
However, there are many different aspects of artificial intelligence and human intelligence. First of all, it is not possible for artificial intelligence to be conscious just like human intelligence. Also, artificial intelligence does not need emotions such as love and belief just like human intelligence. Another difference is that we can clear all unnecessary data and memory in artificial intelligence, but this is not possible in human intelligence for now. In addition, the size of the storage space varies significantly between the two types of intelligence. The storage area of artificial intelligence has not reached the storage area of human intelligence yet. Finally, the difference between nutrition and food. While the nutrients needed by artificial intelligence are the internet and electricity, human intelligence has various nutrients such as protein and vitamins.
In conclusion, although there are some similarities, such as the ability to understand and use information, there are also important differences, such as consciousness. Although artificial intelligence resembles us and rises to a more practical position than us, it is under our control to program it for good or bad purposes. Let is program machines as humanitarian and conscientious robots to help people. Thus, let is reduce the risk of artificial intelligence destroying the human species. I hope we will take our steps for a world where we can turn similarities and differences into advantage for good.
